Catherine Mead, owner of Lynher Dairies, is an international cheese judge and member of the Specialist Cheese Association and the UK and International Cheese Guilds. She is also chair of Fifteen Cornwall.

Cornish Yarg is not made anywhere else. Every single truckle comes from the dairy at Ponsanooth. It was first produced thirty years ago on Bodmin Moor by Alan Gray. Yarg’s name comes from the backward spelling of his name.
