Local cheeses a hit at British Cheese Awards

Hassocks cheesemonger and World Cheese Awards judge Paul Heasman has sung the praises of local cheesemakers Mark and Sarah Hardy, who scored a hat trick at the British Cheese Awards 2017, winning not one but THREE awards.
Mark and Sarah, owners of High Weald Dairy, based on Tremains Farm near Haywards Heath, West Sussex, walked away with the trio, which included a Bronze Award for their St Giles, and Silver Awards for both their Duddleswell and Brighton Blue.
Paul, from the Sussex Food Hall, located in the South Downs Heritage Centre, said “I’m delighted for Sarah and Mark. Their cheeses are of the highest quality, and that is why I’m proud to stock them at my counter.” Paul’s counter stocks a total of 17 of this year’s winning cheeses within its large and carefully selected range.
